About this product

NVDA is a free, open-source screen reader for Microsoft Windows that enables blind and vision-impaired users to access and interact with the Windows operating system and many third-party applications. It provides information through synthetic speech and refreshable Braille, supporting web browsers, email, Microsoft Office, chat applications, music players, and other software. The current stable release is NVDA 2026.2, released August 31, 2026. This version adds a built-in Magnifier, improved touch navigation, and expanded speech and Braille capabilities.
