About this product

The SMART Brailler builds on the familiar mechanical Perkins Brailler while adding visual and auditory feedback. As a user types, the device can display corresponding Braille and print characters and speak the entered text aloud. These features help blind students learn Braille and allow teachers, parents, and sighted classmates to follow the writing process. Documents can be saved and transferred through USB.
