The Prodigy Voice® is a fully audible blood glucose meter designed to provide spoken guidance throughout setup, testing, and memory recall. It requires no coding: inserting a test strip automatically turns the meter on. Raised, tactile buttons and a repeat button help users operate the meter without relying on vision. The meter provides spoken blood-glucose results in approximately 7 seconds, stores up to 450 test results, and provides 7-, 14-, 21-, 30-, 60-, and 90-day averages. Results can also be downloaded to a computer using Prodigy's diabetes management software.
